How This Site Earns

This site compares 30 food tours across Bogotá, from street food walks in La Candelaria to coffee tastings and cooking classes. We earn money in one main way: commissions on bookings made through our links. That is the whole model. There are no sponsored placements, and no operator can pay to appear higher in any comparison.

Where You Actually Book

We do not run the tours or take bookings ourselves. Every listing on this site links to a live booking page run by the platform or operator offering that experience. When you book, your contract, payment and cancellation terms are with them, not with us. Questions about a reservation go to the operator you booked with.

The Live Booking Pages

Every tour listed here is booked through GetYourGuide or Viator. Both are established marketplaces with their own customer service, secure payment processing and review systems. Prices shown on those pages are the same whether you arrive through our link or type the address yourself. Our commission comes out of their side, not yours.

Hotel Links

We occasionally mention places to stay near the neighborhoods where tours start, such as La Candelaria or Chapinero. Any hotel link that earns us a referral works the same way as a tour link: the commission is paid by the booking side, and your rate does not change. We accept no payment from hotels for coverage or placement.

How We Keep Our Picks Honest

Rankings and comparisons on this site reflect the details that matter to a visitor: what a tour costs, how long it runs, what is included and what past guests said. A market walk with a $15 guide-only price sits next to a private tour at $259 because that contrast is useful, not because either paid for position. Commission rates differ between operators and platforms, and we ignore that when deciding what to recommend.
